A quick take on a few things that make me happy: chicken fingers, floppy dog ears (they are ADORABLE), the Florida Keys, and Doctor Who. We’re focusing on Doctor Who. I just finished watching season 4 with my mother (because she’s awesome) and all I have to say- correction: all I will say- is that it made up for the entire show. Particularly the cry-fest I suffered for three long days and an unwavering “life sucks” depression over the course of that same week after watching the season 2 finale. It’s all evened out. Everything is forgiven. Russell T. Davies, you’re one of my absolute favorite sci-fi tv writers. I only aspire to be as vengeful, ballsy, sadistic, and hilarious as you. Kisses.
THEN I FOUND THIS:
1. The Catherine Tate Show is ridiculously funny.
2. Her characterization of a “chav” is HILARIOUS.
3. “Am I bovvered” is a huge catchphrase in England now. And I love it.
And on top of that, she takes a stab at everything Holy from the show. Donna is definitely my second favorite companion. I can’t wait until season 5. I wonder if Matt Smith is going to be a good Doctor? These are the sort of things that I lose sleep over.
